Our Beliefs
We are Christians, united in our faith in Jesus Christ. What he has done for us is summarised in the video on the right. We love questions and those who ask them so, if you want to explore these truths more, ask about our informal discussion groups to explore Christianity together.
Our Vision
We have summarised our vision as a church in three statements. We exist to…
Exalt our Saviour
Equip disciples of every age for all of life
Engage our community for Christ
Our Values
We aim to live out this vision in lots of ways, but these are shaped by our core values as a church. We’d love to talk more about what these mean for us.
We are outward-focussed
The gospel is the greatest of good news. Through Jesus, God has welcomed us to join in his precious family. We aim to welcome everyone as God has welcomed us.
We are gathered by Jesus and his word
Jesus is central to all we do. We have heard and responded to his message and we grow in the same way. We're convinced that when God’s word is taught, God's Spirit works in our lives, to nourish us, challenge us and change us to live for him in every area of life.
We grow together
God in love calls us to grow towards maturity in Him. We believe Christians grow through commitment to the loving community and relationships of life in a local church together.
What does this look like?
The best way to get to know us is to come along. Our main activities of church are our main Sunday services each week at 11am, our monthly Prayer Supper (3rd Sunday, 6pm in the Church Hall), and our commitment to help each other grow. This means we hope everyone has a close Christian friend who they can pray with about what matters. Many of us find this support through a home group.
